Seriously so cute~ The whole zoo is up on a mountain, and the air feels so fresh. Walking around almost feels like a stroll through the forest.
There were more kinds of animals than I expected, including red pandas, giraffes, lions, and adorable meerkats. The red pandas are super popular and just ridiculously cute! 🦝
Best of all, the admission is super cheap, such a great deal. The grounds are also kept really clean, and there’s no bad smell.
Just keep in mind that the terrain is a bit hilly, so it can get a little tiring, but honestly it’s still really pleasant when you’re enjoying the scenery and the animals at the same time.

Manza Kogen Hotel
The water at Manza Onsen is one of the highest sulfur content hot springs in Japan and is known for its abundant supply and quality. The Manza Kogen Hotel is located in the center of Manza Onsen town and offers everyone a relaxing time. Manza Onsen is the highest hot spring in Japan that can be reached by a car year-round and is said to be "the closest hot spring to the stars.”
The main highlight of this hotel is definitely the hot springs, especially the milky-white outdoor bath. It’s incredibly soothing.

Boating down Hozugawa
Hozu River starts from Tanba Plateau. A small boat with a flat bottom will go down the River for 16km from Kameoka to Saga Arashiyama in two hours. Experienced three boatmen steer the vessel through the rocky gorge. A truly dynamic boat tour on the current.
I took the little train to Kameoka, then switched to the boat for a ride down the Hozu River. The scenery along the way was stunning, and sometimes the rapids made it really exciting and fun.

Nishijin Textile Center
This facility introduces and sells Nishijin textiles, a traditional industry of Kyoto. Nishijin Textile, a general term for Sakizome (prior dying of thread before the cloth is woven) for figured cloth produced in Kyoto (Nishijin). It is designated as a traditional national craft.
There was a fashion show with models wearing Nishijin textile outfits. There's a restaurant on the first floor where you can grab a drink or a light meal, and the second floor displays Nishijin textile products.
