It’s really tiny, but the atmosphere is so special! The moment you walk in, there’s this solemn, mysterious feeling.
Even though it’s small, it’s super popular, and a lot of people come here specifically to pray for safety and good luck. The omamori here are especially famous, and people say they’re really powerful for protection and warding off bad luck! 🧿✨

Angel Land Fukui
A large interactive facility where astronaut Mamoru Mohri, who has local ties, serves as honorary director. Combining functions of a children's museum and a science museum, it offers a variety of experiences and activities both indoors and outdoors.
Perfect place to bring kids and let them burn off some energy! There are tons of interactive science games and hands-on exhibits, so kids can learn while playing and never get bored. There are themed areas like space, dinosaurs, and nature, which are interesting for adults too. The facility is clean and bright, and the staff are really friendly. There’s also an outdoor play area and grassy field for running around. Overall, it’s a great value and I highly recommend it for family trips!

Nijo-jo Castle
After winning the Battle of Sekigahara in 1600 and unifying the country, Tokugawa Ieyasu had Nijo-jo Castle built as his base in Kyoto. It is a historical monument with a history of over 410 years as a castle in the heart of the capital. It was designated a UNESCO world heritage site as a part of the “Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto” in 1994.
You can really feel the history here—the moment you walk in, it feels so majestic! The gardens are beautiful too. It's great for strolling around and imagining what it was like when samurai and generals were here. The cultural atmosphere is really strong.

Ryukakusan Direct
Ryukakusan is a throat medicine that has been used for over 200 years in Japan to treat coughs, phlegm, and throat pain. The Ryukakusan brand is now releasing a new granule-type medication “Ryukakusan Direct Stick” and a lozenge-type medication “Ryukakusan Direct Lozenge.” The stick-type version comes in peach and mint flavors.
I always take this whenever my throat feels uncomfortable! I've been buying it for years. A must-buy whenever I go to Japan!!
