As soon as you exit the station, you can see the dinosaur statues moving and even hear them roar. They really make an impression~ The whole station is clean and new, and it’s super convenient with restaurants, souvenir shops, and a convenience store inside.
There are also department stores and shopping malls nearby, so it’s nice for killing time while waiting or transferring. The station building itself is beautifully designed, and it looks especially great at night when it’s lit up.
Overall, it feels like a station that blends local character with a modern touch.

Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse
This red brick warehouse was a world-renowned state-of-the-art Japanese warehouse from the Meiji era into the Taisho era. Presently, its appearance has been maintained, and the 2-building warehouse contains shops, restaurants, and a multipurpose hall, making it a culture and shopping spot.
The architecture feels very European—doesn’t really look Japanese.

Namba Yasaka Shrine
”Namba Yasaka Shrine”, located in the Namba area of Minami in Osaka, is a historic shrine said to have been founded during the reign of Emperor Nintoku (313-399).
Even more impressive in person than in photos. Really memorable.

Todaiji Temple
In the Nara period (710-794), Emperor Shomu had the Rushana Daibutsu (Great Buddha) built at his request, and a memorial service was held in 752. This temple is one of the representative temples of Nara. It took nearly 40 years to build the temple complex.
The building’s colors feel calm and grounded, and it’s easy to appreciate the more you look at it.
