The tanks here are huge! It's so relaxing to just sit and watch everything. The jellyfish area has a great vibe, and the photos turn out amazing.

GRAND GREEN OSAKA
A large-scale complex built on the former Umeda Freight Station site, GRAND GREEN OSAKA is located just steps from JR Osaka Station. It consists of the South Building, North Building, and Umekita Park. Part of the facility opened in September 2024, with the grand opening scheduled for March 21, 2025, and the full completion planned for FY2027.
There are so many places to eat inside Time Out Market! So many options, I couldn't decide what to try. It gets super crowded on weekends, so you'll have to wait a bit to find a seat.

Naeba Ski Resort
One of the largest ski resorts in Japan, Naeba is known for its dry, high-quality snow. Its wide variety of courses, which have also hosted World Cup races, can be enjoyed by everyone from beginners to advanced skiers. The 4 km downhill course is truly spectacular.
There's a ski school here, so even total beginners can get lessons and pick it up quickly. The hotel connects directly to the slopes, which is super convenient—you can start skiing as soon as you step out!

Garinko-go Drift Ice Sightseeing Boat
An experiential sightseeing boat that moves forward while crushing drift ice with the Archimedean screws mounted on its bow. The way it powerfully breaks through the drift ice covering the coast of the Sea of Okhotsk in winter and travels freely across it has made it popular as a special experience you can only have here. The color of the sea created by the broken drift ice and seawater is beautiful, and the sight of the shattered ice rising up along the side of the boat is also incredibly impressive.
You can really see the drift ice up close. The view is stunning, and the whole sea is completely white. It feels like you’ve gone to Antarctica.
