Supervised by :  株式会社豊島屋

Founded in Kamakura in 1894 as a Japanese confectionery shop.
For more than 100 years, it has continued making Hato Sabure, so beloved that people say “When you think of Kamakura, you think of Hato Sabure,” as well as seasonal sweets.

Hato Sabure is known for its rich flavor made with plenty of butter, its crisp texture, and its cute dove shape. It comes in a wide range of packages, including boxed, canned, and bagged options, so you can choose one to suit the occasion.

In addition to Hato Sabure, there are many sweets that let you feel Kamakura’s history and the changing seasons, such as Kamakura Gozan, bell-shaped sweets filled with paste made using genmaicha, black bean tea, sencha, hojicha, and matcha; colorful and charming higashi that express Kamakura’s four seasons; and Kobato Mamegaku, which offers a distinctive flavor made with bean flour and wasanbon sugar.

Recently, unique goods inspired by Hato Sabure have also become popular.
