It really matches the overall Shimokitazawa style and leans more toward an everyday lifestyle vibe.

Mochio Park
The only park in Miyazaki Prefecture selected as one of "Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots," this is a cherished spot for locals. From late March to early April, approximately 2,600 cherry trees, including Somei Yoshino and Yaezakura, bloom, vividly coloring the entire park.
Climbing up to Mochio Shrine and looking out over the sea of flowers is so relaxing—the view is just amazing!

Michi-no-Eki Kitaura (Kitaura Roadside Station)
Located in northern Miyazaki Prefecture, Michi-no-Eki Kitaura lies within the scenic Nippō Kaigan Quasi-National Park, in the coastal town of Kitaura. Surrounded by sea and forest along National Route 388, it sits within the Shimoaso Beach Resort's Hamayu Village Campground, offering a natural and serene atmosphere.
The food is a good value, but the premium seafood can be a bit pricey. It's best for a casual meal.

Old Public Hall of Hakodate Ward
The Old Public Hall of Hakodate ward, a Western-style building constructed in 1910, underwent extensive conservation and repair work in 2021, restoring it to its original beauty.
The Old Public Hall of Hakodate Ward is a place with both historical value and architectural beauty. I was really impressed by how well the building has been preserved and its historical significance.
