Shimokita Ekieue

As its name suggests, Shimokita Ekieue is a shopping complex spread out above Shimokitazawa Station on the Odakyu Line. It is highly convenient, with direct access right outside the Central Ticket Gate, and easy access from the East Exit via the glass-enclosed escalator.
Inside, you’ll find a wide range of shops that enrich daily life, including restaurants and cafes serving Thai food, Chinese food, and panini, as well as lifestyle goods stores and flower shops. One of its appeals is that you can discover not only unusual items, but also something new at any time.

Throughout the building, there are murals created by artist Yu Nagaba that also make great casual photo spots. It’s fun to walk around the complex while looking for the different murals.

With its wide variety of shops, it presents a new kind of “Shimokita life” unlike anything before.
