When you visit Yokohama Minato Mirai, don't miss the urban charm of Queen's Square Yokohama. As soon as I walked into the mall, my first thought was—it's so spacious!
The open atrium has high ceilings and an impressive look. With multiple floors and long corridors, walking through it almost feels like being inside a modern cathedral. It really has a grand presence!
The layout is also very clear, and the signs are easy to find, so even first-time visitors are unlikely to get lost.
And when you're tired from shopping, don't miss the food!
There are plenty of distinctive restaurants and cafes, whether you want a full meal, dessert, or just somewhere to take a break.

Yokohama Chinatown
Yokohama Chinatown, one of Japan’s three major Chinatowns, is a district lined with countless Chinese restaurants. From affordable dishes you can enjoy as takeout or all-you-can-eat meals to authentic Chinese cuisine, there are options to suit your budget.
The first thing I felt when I arrived at Yokohama Chinatown was—it really has such a strong “Chinese feel”!
As one of Japan’s three major Chinatowns and the largest Chinatown in Japan, it gets packed on holidays, and the whole neighborhood is incredibly lively! With colorful gates, distinctive signs, and the aroma of Chinese food wafting through the streets, you can’t help but switch into “eat as you walk” mode and want to try everything you see.
Besides the food, there are also quite a few fortune-telling shops hidden in the side streets. As you walk around, you suddenly get the urge to think, “Should I get my fortune told today?” -

Harbor View Park
Harbor View Park is located on a small hill overlooking the Port of Yokohama. When the port first opened, the area was used as a foreign settlement with the British army stationed on the hill and the French army at the bottom, so the area features locations like the “French Mountain” and “British House Yokohama.”
When you come to Yokohama, don't miss Harbor View Park and its incredible views! From up high, you can see Yokohama Port and the Bay Bridge all at once. With the sea breeze blowing, you'll instantly feel so relaxed you won't want to leave〜
The park also has a beautiful rose garden, and as you stroll around, you'll come across historic buildings like the British House. It's romantic with a touch of international flair.
Enjoy the harbor views and flowers during the day, then come back at night to see Yokohama Port sparkling with lights. It looks great no matter how you photograph it!
This really is a great place to take your time walking around and enjoying the scenery. No wonder it's so easy to lose track of time and not want to leave. -

Yamashita Park
Yamashita Park is located by the sea, just a short walk from Yokohama Chinatown. It was opened in March of 1930, reclaiming the waterfront using rubble caused by the Great Kanto Earthquake.
If you’re in Yokohama, Yamashita Park is really worth a visit! It overlooks the vast Yokohama Harbor, and walking along the waterfront with the pleasant sea breeze while watching ships slowly pass by made me feel completely relaxed.
The park has a beautiful rose garden and fountains, as well as the cute “Girl with Red Shoes” statue and the Hikawa Maru docked offshore. It’s more than just a tourist attraction—you can also get a feel for Yokohama’s laid-back everyday life. You’ll often see locals picnicking or sunbathing on the grass, and sometimes there are even street performers.
After exploring nearby Chinatown, coming to Yamashita Park to enjoy the sea breeze is so relaxing! -
