Hakodate Noodle Kitchen AJISAI head restaurant
"Hakodate Noodle Kitchen AJISAI" is a well-known Shio-Ramen restaurant representing Hakodate. Founded in 1930, it is still a favorite of many people more than 90 years after its establishment. Located near Goryokaku Park, it is a popular restaurant visited by tourists and locals daily.
Cold weather is perfect for a piping-hot bowl of ramen! After walking in and sitting down, one sip of the hot broth warmed me up instantly〜 The ramen arrived steaming hot, with a wonderful aroma, and it was especially satisfying.
Especially when you run into cold weather like this while traveling, being able to enjoy a warm bowl of ramen really makes you feel so happy! By the time I finished the whole bowl, my entire body had warmed up. It was a simple meal, but it left a lasting impression!
Asakusa Shin Nakamise Shopping Street
Boasting a history of about 90 years since its inception in the early Showa era, the Asakusa Shin Nakamise Shopping Street crosses Asakusa from east to west, in contrast to the Nakamise Shopping Street that connects the Kaminarimon Gate to Asakusa Temple. It is the largest shopping street in Asakusa, with a total length of 380m, and is composed of five areas.
Asakusa Shin Nakamise Shopping Street is really fun to explore.
There are lots of shops, souvenirs, and snacks along the way, especially plenty of delicious food. You can browse as you walk and buy whatever catches your eye, so you definitely won't go hungry.
The whole street is lively and has a real old-town Asakusa atmosphere, making it really feel like you're traveling! Besides visiting Nakamise Street, I also recommend stopping by Shin Nakamise Shopping Street when you're in Asakusa.
Rurikoin
This temple, located in Yase Ohara, has been loved by aristocrats and warriors since the Heian period. It is usually closed to the public, but is only open twice a year for special viewings in spring and autumn.
The fall foliage at Rurikoin is truly as beautiful as a painting!
The red, orange, and yellow maple leaves reflected on the polished tabletop make the whole scene look like it was carefully painted. Every photo turns out beautiful! Sitting inside and quietly admiring the leaves, it felt like time slowed down. Seeing it in person was truly stunning, and it was one of the most memorable places for fall foliage in Kyoto.
