Oranda-zaka is located in the Higashiyamate area and consists of stone-paved slopes from the foreign settlement that existed from the final years of the Edo period through the Meiji era. At the time, people in Nagasaki referred to all Westerners as “Dutch,” which is how the slopes got their name. Several classical Western-style buildings and vintage brick walls remain along both sides, creating a distinctly romantic foreign atmosphere. It's a great place for a stroll and photos, and can be visited together with Glover Garden.

Oura Catholic Church
The Oura Catholic Church was built for foreigners staying in Japan. Its actual name is “26 Martyrs Church”, and was built in honor of 26 apostles who reached martyrdom in the year 1597. The church faces West Hill, which is where they were executed.

Shikairou Chinese Restaurant
Champon is a Japanese noodle dish based on a similar dish from Fujian Province, China, the hometown of the first owner of the Shikairou Chinese Restaurant. Champon is topped with local seafood and a lot of seasonal vegetables and has been a favorite for more than a century in the Nagasaki region. It has long been a famous signature dish of the area.
強棒麵算是我個人蠻喜歡的一道料理，最大特色就是蔬菜分量很多，高麗菜、豆芽等蔬菜搭配豬肉、海鮮，再加上 Q 彈麵條，吃起來豐富又有飽足感。日本料理常見炸物，如果吃多了覺得有點膩，強棒麵反而是很不錯的選擇，一碗熱呼呼的麵，蔬菜多、口味也不會太有負擔。
