Arriving at Lake Kawaguchi, a premier destination for taking in the stunning scenery of Mount Fuji, I stood by the lake early in the morning and was lucky enough to catch a perfectly calm moment, revealing the breathtaking phenomenon of “Upside-Down Fuji”! The majestic outline of the mountain and the slight traces of snow on its summit were reflected clearly and perfectly on the calm, mirror-like blue lake. An occasional small boat crossed the water, creating gentle ripples in a scene that was both poetic and incredibly striking. You can not only admire Mount Fuji from every angle by sightseeing boat or ropeway, but also find plenty of hot spring hotels and beautiful seasonal scenery nearby. This is definitely a dreamlike landmark that everyone must see with their own eyes at least once when traveling independently around the Fuji Five Lakes!

Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway
The Mt. Fuji Panorama Ropeway is used by many tourists as a way to climb up to Mt. Tenjyoyama from Lake Kawaguchi. From inside the gondola, you can enjoy a beautiful view of Lake Kawaguchi below.

This museum is located in Kawasaki, the city where Fujiko·F·Fujio, the manga artist who created series such as “Doraemon” and “Perman,” lived for many years.
The Fujiko F. Fujio Museum in Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture, is a dream destination for anime fans. As you enter the lush outdoor area, you’re greeted by a hugely popular character from the classic movie “Doraemon: Nobita’s Dinosaur”—the giant Futabasaurus, Pisuke! Nobita and Doraemon are happily riding on Pisuke’s back, surrounded by drifting mist that makes it feel as if you’ve stepped straight into the movie’s classic, touching adventure. The museum not only displays a large collection of precious original manga manuscripts, but also features all kinds of photo spots recreating items from the anime and themed restaurant dishes. Asakusa Shrine
The shrine is located next to the main hall of Senso-ji Temple, well known for its Kaminarimon-Gate. It is also called "Sanja-sama" because it enshrines three local deities who contributed to the construction of Sensoji Temple. Although the exact date is unknown, it is believed that "Sanja Gongen-sha," the origin of Asakusa Shrine, was founded in the late Heian period or early Kamakura period or later.
Near Yogodo Hall and the Fujizuka mound within the temple grounds, you can discover the peaceful and Zen-like Hojo Pond garden! Water bubbles up in the pond as colorful koi swim leisurely, while the pond is bordered by rugged volcanic lava rocks. On the hill behind it stands a group of stone monuments engraved with words such as “Naritasan,” along with stone Buddha statues, reflecting a deep history of faith and culture. Surrounded by greenery, the atmosphere is solemn and tranquil. After worshipping at the main hall and exploring the lively Nakamise-dori, this is the perfect place to slow down and quietly appreciate the serene beauty of a Japanese temple garden.
