At Ichinokura, I specifically tried Himezen. As soon as it was served, I was drawn to the elegant presentation. The overall spread looked abundant and had a distinctly Japanese aesthetic. Each dish had its own characteristics, allowing me to taste the natural flavors of the ingredients. Some had a light, delicate texture, while others had rich aromas, creating plenty of variety. The side dishes paired well with the main dish, with just the right amount of seasoning. Nothing felt overly greasy, making the meal very pleasant to eat. I especially like this type of set meal, where you can try several kinds of Japanese dishes at once. It was visually pleasing and offered different surprises in flavor as well. Overall, it was a very satisfying meal and one worth remembering from this trip to Japan!
