No wonder it's a world-class heritage site. You really have to go up to the observation deck to see just how beautiful Shirakawa-go is.

Shimanami Kaido (Seaway)
The “Shimanami Kaido” is a 60 km long road connecting Honshu and Shikoku. It connects Onomichi City in Hiroshima Prefecture to Imabari City in Ehime Prefecture, and bridges six islands in the Seto Inland Sea. It consists of the Nishi-Seto Expressway, Ikuchijima Road, and Oshima Road.
This route mainly connects Shikoku and Hiroshima. There are various bridges, each with its own unique features. The scenery along the way is beautiful, and it's great for both driving and cycling.

Reoma Resort / New Reoma World
Welcome to one of the largest themeparks in the Chugoku/Shikoku Region. Packed with 22 different attractions, character mascot parades and fun across its many park areas, you’ll even find roller coaster rides, VR experiences, an oversized ferris wheel! There’s also the Reoma Flower World known for its tulips, roses, and other flowers that bloom across all seasons, the Oriental Trip area filled with recreations of famous architecture across Asia, and plenty across the park to ensure your day is fully packed with fun. To top it off, why not stay a night at “Hotel Reoma no Mori” known for its hot springs and gourmet food.
The parking lot is ridiculously huge, but there are barely any visitors inside the park. The upside is you don't have to wait in line for rides, but with so few people, the amusement area just doesn't feel lively or fun.

Hakone Tozan Railway / Hakone Tozan Cable Car
The Hakone Tozan Railway is an indispensable part of sightseeing in Hakone, with many of the major spots in the city located along the route.
During flower season, the railway is lined with all kinds of beautiful blooms. It's a really scenic train ride.
