I skipped the hotel breakfast and came to the market early just to have the seafood rice bowl here. Super fresh, delicious, and the prices are great.

Ishikawa Prefectural Government 19th Floor Observation Lobby
A public observation space on the top floor of the Ishikawa Prefectural Government building. The floor is glass-walled on all four sides, offering sweeping views of Kanazawa’s cityscape, the sea, and the mountains from a height of Approx. 80 meters above ground. On clear days, you can see Mt. Hakusan and the Tateyama Mountain Range, and since admission is available until 8:00pm (7:00pm on weekdays from January to March), you can also enjoy the night view.
A free observation deck this good feels almost unreal! The view is gorgeous and absolutely worth checking out. You get a 360-degree view of all of Kanazawa, and on a clear day you can even see Mt. Hakusan. Super impressive!

Saikai National Park Nagushiyama Park
A park located near the summit of 234-meter-high Nagushiyama, in one corner of Saikai National Park. Known as a famous azalea spot, from April to May a total of 100,000 azaleas, including Approx. 50,000 Kurume azaleas native to Japan and Approx. 50,000 Hirado azaleas, color the entire hill in vivid pink and red.
After the blooming season, the whole slope feels a bit lonely and quiet. It’s not as dreamy as the promotional photos.

Kinkaku-ji
During the Muromachi Period, the 3rd Ashikaga shogun, Yoshimitsu, made an abode in this temple called Kitayamadono. It was named as Rokuon-ji after the posthumous name of Yoshimitsu. He had also built Shokoku-ji Temple, and Rokuon-ji, his retirement home, was turned into a branch temple of Shokoku-ji.
This World Cultural Heritage site is absolutely breathtaking. A must-visit spot in Kyoto!
