Katamachi Kirara

Katamachi Kirara is a multi-purpose commercial complex in Katamachi, one of the largest downtown entertainment districts in the Hokuriku region, located in central Kanazawa. Its symbolic large roof stands out, and the three-floor building is a popular spot for fashion, dining, and culture. It also includes a wedding venue on the 4th and 5th floors, featuring a large-scale chapel surrounded by light and greenery. The name “Kirara” reflects the hope that it will become a landmark worthy of Katamachi, shining beautifully and suggesting a bright future.

It drew attention at the time for opening the first H&M in the Hokuriku region. Other tenants include an Italian restaurant, a capsule toy specialty shop, a drugstore, and a 100-yen shop.

The plaza in front of the facility is used for exhibitions, music events, and other gatherings, creating a lively community space open to the city.
