Tojoko Toy Kingdom
An interactive theme park built around the idea of creating a play space where children take center stage, helping nurture their growth and creativity through hands-on play with toys. A key feature is its focus on the value of play itself, with facilities where kids can actually touch and play with everything from educational toys to character toys.
Most of the rides in the park aren’t too intense, so they’re great for kids to try. The wait times aren’t too long either, so you can enjoy quite a few attractions. Great value for the money.

Fukuoka Mitsukoshi
Fukuoka Mitsukoshi is located in Tenjin, Kyushu’s largest shopping and entertainment district. Set inside Solaria Terminal Building, a station building directly connected to Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station, it is also linked to the underground shopping area and express bus terminal, making it an easy stop for travelers. Inside, you’ll find a wide range of shops offering cosmetics, fashion, jewelry and watches, lifestyle goods, and more, while the B1 floor features LACHIC Fukuoka Tenjin, a collection of trend-conscious select shops.
Fukuoka Mitsukoshi is right next to Tenjin Station, so it’s super convenient to get to. The food hall on the basement level is really appealing, and the sweets, prepared foods, and bento boxes are all beautifully made.

Lake Tazawa
Lake Tazawa is the deepest lake in Japan at 423.4m deep. The lake, with its breathtakingly beautiful cobalt blue surface, is a scenic spot in Akita Prefecture, selected as one of the 100 most scenic spots in Japan. In 2022, the moon rising over Lake Tazawa will be recognized as one of Japan's 100 Most Beautiful Moons, adding even more charm to the lake.
Walking around the lake is really relaxing. It's perfect for a slow stroll, and the color of the lake looks different from every angle.
