This is a traditional craft shop mainly making paper umbrellas and lanterns using Mino paper. It was a really nice experience.

The prefectural highway, Route 15 connects Ikaho Onsen and Maebashi City. Near the Ikaho Onsen, Mizusawa Temple stands in front of the approach called Mizusawa Udon Kaido, a gourmet street.
The texture of this udon is seriously impressive—chewy and satisfying! The sesame dipping sauce makes it even more addictive. No wonder it's so popular.

Kusatsu Onsen (Kusatsu Hotspring)
Kusatsu Onsen is popular and well known as one of Japan's three major hotsprings. 32300 liters per minute naturally gushes, which is admitted as the highest amount of discharge in Japan, the source water with high acid is known to have an excellent antibacterial effect.
Besides soaking in the hot springs, you can also explore some old buildings and temples nearby to learn about the local culture and way of life. The local cuisine, especially dishes cooked with hot spring water, has a unique flavor worth trying.
