It gets super crowded on weekends, so I recommend going on a weekday morning for a much better experience! ☺️

Chidori Manju Sohonpo “Amaou Tirolian”
Made with plenty of milk and fermented butter, Tirolian is one of Fukuoka’s most iconic sweets-a crisp rolled cookie baked using a traditional recipe from the Tyrol region of Austria, filled with smooth, rich cream. The classic flavors include vanilla, coffee, strawberry, and chocolate, with seasonal and regional varieties also available.
The strawberry flavor is really pronounced—not that fake, artificial kind. It’s small, and just right for an afternoon snack.

Kumejima Sea Turtle Museum
Ojima Island is a small island connected to Kumejima by bridge in Shimajiri District, Okinawa that’s also home to the Kumejima Sea Turtle Museum, a dedicated conservation hub for sea turtles that doubles as an educational center for marine life and environmental issues.
The exhibits aren’t too complicated, so it’s perfect for a light, casual visit where you can learn their stories as you walk around.
If you’re lucky, you can see the sea turtles slowly swimming over, which is honestly really soothing 🐢
You don’t need much time here, maybe about 30 minutes, but it feels very meaningful.
It’s the kind of place that leaves your heart feeling softer after you’re done. -
Ocean Spa Fuua
Located in Atami, one of Japan’s premier hot spring destinations, Ocean Spa Fuua is a day-use hot spring resort where guests can fully immerse themselves in a relaxing, resort-like atmosphere. The facility offers a variety of amenities-including scenic open-air baths, natural hot springs, saunas, and stone spa rooms-making it easy to spend an entire day unwinding.
This place is super relaxing and really beautiful. The price is a bit higher than regular hot springs, but it's totally worth it! I recommend spending at least half a day here to really soak and chill out〜
