Ocean Spa Fuua

Located in Atami, one of Japan’s premier hot spring destinations, Ocean Spa Fuua is a day-use hot spring resort where guests can fully immerse themselves in a relaxing, resort-like atmosphere. The facility offers a variety of amenities-including scenic open-air baths, natural hot springs, saunas, and stone spa rooms-making it easy to spend an entire day unwinding.

The highlight of the spa is its 25-meter-long open-air standing bath, one of the largest in Japan. From here, guests can enjoy a panoramic view of Sagami Bay, feeling as though they are floating on the sea itself. Both the open-air and indoor baths offer stunning ocean views, providing a truly serene bathing experience.

In addition to the scenic observation sauna inside the spa area, the facility also features the “Löyly Camp” in the Atami Living space, where guests-dressed in spa attire-can participate in a mixed-gender steam sauna session (reservation required). The intense heat wave created by towel fanning and the special cool-down ritual make it a favorite among sauna enthusiasts.

After soaking or sweating it out, guests can unwind in the Atami Living lounges on the 3rd and 4th floors, each offering different styles of relaxation areas and terraces.
