Ekichika Onsen Kuroshio
A day-use hot spring just a 2-minute walk from Yaizu Station, making it easy to visit before or after your trip.
Just a 2-minute walk from Yaizu Station, this natural hot spring day spa lives up to its name, “ekichika,” meaning near the station. With 1-hour, 2-hour, and 3-hour time-based plans for quick visits, plus a free-time option for a more leisurely stay with meals and breaks, the detailed pricing makes it easy to fit into your schedule.
Since 2021, the facility has used “Yaizu Onsen,” a hot spring source that rises from 1,500 meters underground from strata formed Approx. 19 million years ago. This mildly alkaline water is rich in salt, helping retain warmth and moisture, and is especially effective for relieving fatigue, sensitivity to cold, and promoting healthy skin. In addition to the large natural hot spring bath, you can also enjoy a silky bubble bath where millions of bubbles massage your whole body and a radium sauna with auto loyly steam that promotes sweating.
Inside, you’ll find a restaurant serving plenty of Yaizu specialties such as tuna rice bowls and curry udon made with bonito broth, a library with Approx. 5,000 comics and magazines to read freely, and various types of reclining spaces where you can relax before or after your bath.
