The hotel decor has a warm, woodsy vibe, with that signature Hoshino quality.
The room was spacious and comfortable. Outside the window was lush greenery and the stream. Waking up in the morning to the sound of flowing water was so relaxing.

Kujukushima (Kisakata)
A scenic spot where 103 islets of all sizes appear to float in the rural landscape spreading out at the foot of Mt. Chokai. Long ago, islands dotted a shallow lagoon, and the area was praised as “Matsushima of the East, Kisakata of the West”-a stunning view that even captivated Matsuo Basho. In 1804, a major earthquake estimated at magnitude 7 uplifted the surrounding land by Approx. 2 m, turning it into tidal flats (land) and creating the landscape seen today.
It really looks like a jigsaw puzzle.
As far as you can see, islands are scattered across the surface of the sea, like an artist casually dotted them in—grand, yet peaceful.
Walk around the viewpoints and the scenery keeps changing. It’s perfect for photos.
Everything here moves at a slower pace and feels so comfortable—just being there makes you feel refreshed, like your mind’s been rinsed clean. -
Chura Yashi Park Okinawa, Southeast Botanical Gardens
This largest outdoor botanical garden in Japan hosts more than 50,000 plants in nearly 1,300 species. The tropical scenery lasts throughout the year here. The Water Paradise and Botanical Garden on the premises show off precious tropical and subtropical plants.
There are so many rare tropical plants here—it really feels like visiting a Southeast Asian country.

Tokyo Disneyland
Known and loved as the “kingdom of dreams and magic”, this full-scale themepark is just a 15 min. train ride from Tokyo Station.
It's a dream paradise for kids. I have to say, Disneyland is run incredibly well.
