Located inside Fujita Memorial Garden in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture, Taisho Roman Tea Room is a cafe set on the first floor of a Western-style building. Surrounded by Taisho-era (1912–1926) Western architecture, it is also a popular place to take a break during a stroll.

The menu features sweets and drinks made with apples from Aomori Prefecture. Several kinds of signature apple pie from confectionery shops in the city are available. The cafe also serves fragrant galettes made with buckwheat flour from Shirakami. You can also enjoy light meals made with locally sourced ingredients, such as pasta and curry with Hirosaki apples.

The calm interior preserves the atmosphere of the Western-style building. The best seats are by the windows in the grand hall and sunroom. The space lets you feel the charm of the Taisho era.
