PROFILE
I’m a chubby foodie, and I focus my writing on gourmet food and travel. I love to eat, and it’s no exaggeration to say that I work so that I can eat. My dream is to travel all across Japan in search of delicious food!

- Where in Japan I recommend the most and why to travelers in Japan.
- The Ise area of Mie Prefecture. Experiencing the holy feeling and soul-cleansing of worshiping at the Ise Grand Shrine is something that everyone should do at least once. You can also enjoy a lot of amazing Japanese food in the area, from high-class foods like Ise shrimp and Matsusaka beef to B-rank gourmet options like Ise udon and anko-coated mochi.
- Favorite memory from traveling in Japan.
- The World Heritage Site Gokayama in Toyama Prefecture. I was incredibly moved by the area’s scenery, particularly the old gassho-zukuri villages that are still intact from long ago. The local specialty charr (a type of trout) was also delicious.
- Must do activity for visitors to Japan.
- I recommend experiencing the Japanese way of going drinking: going from izakaya to izakaya, and finally finishing the night off with ramen!
