About Me

I’m a food-loving, plus-size writer who mainly covers food and travel. I simply love eating-it’s no exaggeration to say that I work so I can eat. My dream is to travel across Japan in search of delicious food!

My Top Recommendation for Travelers to Japan and Why

The Ise area of Mie Prefecture. Everyone should experience the sacred atmosphere and sense of spiritual renewal that come with visiting Ise Jingu at least once. The area also offers a wealth of wonderful Japanese flavors, from premium ingredients such as spiny lobster and Matsusaka beef to casual local favorites like Ise udon and red bean paste mochi.

My Favorite Memory of Traveling in Japan

Gokayama in Toyama Prefecture, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. I was deeply moved by the scenery, especially the traditional villages of gassho-style houses preserved as they once were. The local char was delicious too.

An Experience You Should Try in Japan

Go bar-hopping at izakaya and finish the night with ramen—be sure to try this Japanese style of drinking!
