Nezu Shrine

A Famous Azalea Viewing Location, and Popular for its Important Cultural Property Buildings and Torii Corridor.

3.00 2

Last update :

The main shrine building and gates were all finished in 1706 and remain intact to this day, and they have been designated as Important Cultural Properties of Japan.
Also popular are the beautiful scarlet torii corridor (“senbon torii”) and the “praying nutmeg tree” that’s said to grant people’s wishes.

From mid-April, around 3,000 azaleas across 100 varieties bloom beautifully in the azalea garden. The “Bunkyo Azalea Festival” is held when the flowers are at their peak, and that is the only time when the azalea garden is open to the public.
The Nezu Shrine Festival is held in mid-September, and it’s another popular time for visitors.

    如果你不喜歡人多的地方,那麼來這個神社遊覽很不錯。這裏很美,很安靜。我很喜歡這一點。以後會經常來這裏的。
