The "Ashikaga Fireworks Display " is annually held on August at the Watarase riverside area. The long-established event started in 1903 and has continued to be held for more than 110 years. The paid seats include the chair seats (folding chairs 3,000 yen / couple seats 7,000 yen), excellent viewing seats (1 section 8000 yen, 8-10 person capacity / 0.5 section 5000 yen, 4~5 person capacity), box seats (1 area 17,000 yen, approx. 5 person capacity). They are close to where the fireworks will be launched, and the view is spectacular. It is also the best for taking photos with your phone.
