In seven buildings, including brick buildings from the former factory days and a huge atrium, we have gathered facilities such as shopping malls, amusement facilities, restaurants, fitness clubs, and hotels. One of the features of this facility is that you can enjoy shopping and visiting cafes without worrying about the weather.
The Sapporo Kaitakushi Brewery, located in Chimney Square, still uses brewing kettles to produce beer. In addition to the brewing equipment such as the brewing kettles, visitors can see panels about beer brewing and valuable photographic materials that tell the story of the brewery's birth. You can also taste fresh local beer at ”The Bierkeller Sapporo Kaitakushi” beer hall on the first floor of the brick building.
