Hamanako Garden Park is an urban park built on the site of the 2004 Hamanako Flower Expo. Located on a peninsula jutting into Lake Hamana, it features a beautiful location surrounded by the lake and rich nature.

The expansive 56-hectare area, roughly 12 times the size of Tokyo Dome, is divided into three zones: the Town Zone, the West Zone, and the Countryside Zone. The Town Zone is the bustling heart of the park, featuring a water play area, children’s playground, and a sightseeing boat. The Flower Plaza boasts seasonal blooms, including nemophila in spring, sunflowers in summer, and cosmos in autumn. A 50-meter-high observation tower offers breathtaking views of flower-filled ground art, the entire garden park, and Lake Hamana.
The West Zone includes a green space, while the Countryside Zone houses international gardens designed in styles from countries like China and the UK, as well as Hyakkaen, Hanamien, and the most popular spot, the Flower Museum. A cycling road encircles the park, offering a scenic ride.

The park is designed with universal accessibility in mind, providing free wheelchair and stroller rentals to ensure comfort for all visitors, from small children to the elderly.
