Located at JR Shinjuku East Exit, a major terminal station in the capital city of Tokyo, "Alpen TOKYO" opened in April 2022 as Japan's largest comprehensive sports specialty store.

"Alpen TOKYO," Alpen's flagship store, combines three store formats: "Sports Depo," "Alpen Outdoors," and "Golf 5," spanning ten floors from the 8th floor to the basement 2nd floor of the commercial building "YUNIKA Building," offering about 350,000 items of sports and outdoor gear, as well as golf products.

The "Alpen Outdoors Flagship Store Shinjuku" occupies 2.5 floors, including the 3rd floor west area and the 4th & 5th floors, featuring more than 200 brands, including key brands like Snow Peak, Coleman, The North Face, as well as lesser-known core brands, making it one of the largest assortments in Tokyo.

The 3rd-floor west area is filled with popular outdoor brand apparels and goods, with monitors showcasing coordinations by Alpen shop staff nationwide. The 4th floor offers a wide range of shoes and trekking bags covering from low mountains to 3,000m class mountains. The store stocks over 200 shoe models with 1,300 items and over 400 trekking bag models with 1,000 items. The 5th floor is dedicated to the camping brand corner, featuring many exclusive items. From beginners unsure about tent purchases to advanced campers wanting to stand out, there's something for everyone. A tent trial setup corner is also available, allowing customers to experience over 250 tent models sold at the Shinjuku store.

Located just a minute from the station and connected to the "Shinjuku Subnade" underground mall, it's accessible regardless of the weather. It's a must-visit new "sacred site of outdoors" in the city center.
