CAFE FUKURUBI

Perched on a hill on the north side of Kouri Island in Okinawa Prefecture, this ocean-view cafe restaurant also offers accommodations for just one group per day. From the terrace, you can take in panoramic ocean views and enjoy island ingredients while gazing out at the horizon stretching toward the sunset. Its convenient location near Heart Rock, one of Kouri Island’s most popular sightseeing spots, is another plus.

The food menu centers on ingredients from Okinawa Prefecture, with plenty of hearty options such as a 100% Yanbaru Island pork agu hamburger steak and carpaccio pizza topped with island octopus and shrimp. Blue cream soda inspired by the sea around Kouri Island and daily homemade sweets are also popular. There are also barbecue and shabu-shabu plans available on the ocean-view cafe terrace. Reservations by phone are required by the day before for both barbecue and shabu-shabu.

The second floor of the cafe is a special accommodation limited to one group per day, with outstanding views from rooms facing the sea. It features spacious beds, a living area, and a terrace with a jacuzzi, and can accommodate up to 6 guests.
