ZUNDA ZUNDA Sendai Ichibancho Main Store is a Japanese sweets cafe in Aoba Ward, Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture. Operated directly by Aoba Zunda Honpo, it specializes in sweets themed around zunda, the local favorite best known in zunda mochi.

The signature menu items are traditional zunda mochi, skewered dango, and three-color mochi. The shop’s zunda is made with coarsely ground edamame, leaving a pleasantly chunky texture that lets the flavor come through clearly. By adding sweet chamame soybeans, it achieves a rich aroma and deep flavor. The cafe also offers modern-style sweets such as parfaits, sandwiches, shakes, and cheesecake. For coffee, it serves an original blend made with beans from Coffee Kobo Ishikawa in Ishinomaki City. It pairs perfectly with the zunda sweets.

The shop is conveniently located Approx. 3 minutes on foot from Kotodai-Koen Station. After ordering on the first floor, you can eat in the second-floor dine-in space, which has six table seats. There is also a wide selection of takeout items, including frozen zunda mochi, that make great souvenirs.
