Okonomiyaki Mie is a teppanyaki specialty restaurant founded in 1985. A longtime local favorite in Tsuyama, it is especially known for its horumon udon. You can taste the difference in freshness and flavor in just one bite, and many people say, “I don’t usually like horumon, but I can eat it here.”

The restaurant’s horumon udon is made with horumon from Tsuyama Wagyu, a local Tsuyama brand of beef. It is prepared with plenty of vegetables and finished with a house-made sauce inspired by Korean-style seasoning. The sweet and savory flavor has real depth, and the different textures of each cut are part of the appeal. The lighter-tasting shio horumon udon is also popular. The okonomiyaki, made with rich chicken-bone dashi, is also well regarded for being delicious even without sauce. Other teppanyaki dishes, including omusoba and nanban-yaki, are also available.

The restaurant has 25 seats in total, with both counter and table seating. It is easy to visit whether you are dining with family or on your own. Located in a residential neighborhood in Kamigawara, Tsuyama, Okayama Prefecture, it is Approx. 4 km from JR Tsuyama Station. Parking is available, making it easy to access by public transportation or car.
