Izu Animal Kingdom
A leisure park where around 60 animal species live freely in vast natural surroundings.
A comprehensive leisure park located on a hill on the Izu Peninsula. Around 60 animal species, including fierce animals and herbivores living on the savanna, friendly small animals, and birds, are kept and displayed here, living freely in an environment close to nature.
The new area “Animal Paradise 360,” which opened in spring 2024, features around 10 kinds of animals including capybaras and flamingos in a space inspired by the Southern Hemisphere. With an elevation difference of about 10 meters within the area, you can feel as if you are surrounded by a wide variety of animals. Other popular areas include the exciting “Waku Waku Fureai Hiroba,” which offers plenty of hands-on experiences such as feeding large animals and interacting with cute small animals, and the “Walking Safari,” known for its restaurant where you can enjoy a meal while watching white tigers and lions up close through the glass.
The spacious grounds also include an amusement park packed with rides, a forest hiding dinosaurs close to life-size, and a sports zone with a putting golf course and dog run. From the Ferris wheel on the hill, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the magnificent scenery of Izu.
