Across the hills at the foot of Mt. Hinomine, you’ll find spacious lawns, a wide variety of athletic play equipment, roller slides, and other plazas, each with its own character. The Observation Plaza, located at the park’s highest point, is a scenic spot with sweeping views in two directions: Komatsushima’s city center to the south, and Tokushima’s city center and the Kii Channel to the north. The city night views are also a must-see. At the day campsite set among the pine trees along Omiko Coast, visitors can enjoy outdoor activities such as barbecues, beach play, and sea fishing.

In and around the Cherry Blossom Viewing Plaza, Somei Yoshino and wild cherry trees are planted alternately, drawing crowds of cherry blossom viewers in spring.
