Enjoy French cuisine and teppanyaki in the former Hungarian ambassador’s residence.
Set on a vast 1,100-tsubo estate, this restaurant occupies the former Hungarian ambassador’s residence. “Q.E.D.” refers to the phrase written at the end of a proof, meaning “proof complete.” The name expresses the idea: “Thus, proof complete. Nothing could be better.”
The restaurant serves French cuisine and teppanyaki. The French menu is led by Chef Omura, who has earned two Michelin stars, and features carefully selected organic ingredients sourced directly from their regions of origin. Each dish is as visually striking as it is flavorful, like a work of art. The teppanyaki restaurant is located on the second floor of the annex, where chefs prepare carefully chosen premium beef, along with mountain and seafood ingredients, right in front of guests.
Inside, works and furnishings by artists such as Émile Gallé, Tsuguharu Foujita, and Hiroshi Senju are displayed, offering the chance to enjoy art as well. Another major attraction is the garden, which reveals a different beauty in every season: cherry blossoms in full bloom in spring, fireflies in early summer, autumn foliage, and winter illuminations.
