At night, Sensoji Temple looks absolutely stunning! From Kaminarimon Gate to the main hall and even the five-story pagoda, everything is beautifully lit up. The vermilion buildings glow with a warm yellow light, making the whole place feel even more majestic and gorgeous than during the day. ❤️

There are so many affordable eats around Sensoji Temple! There’s always a line for the popular snacks like Kagetsudo melon bread, Asakusa croquettes, Asakusa strawberry daifuku, Suzukien, and Asakusa Kuugetsu strawberry dango. Every time I come here, I end up with my hands full of souvenirs—such a great haul!

After passing through Kaminarimon, you'll enter the approach to Sensoji Temple, called Nakamise Street. There are some old shops here, like Kimuraya Ningyo-yaki, a long-established store from the Meiji era, and Ichibanya, which makes senbei grilled over charcoal. These make fantastic souvenirs—highly recommended! 😍

Asakusa is a super popular tourist area. You'll often see visitors wandering around these charming old-town streets. There are lots of tasty and unique shops here that make you want to stay longer! 😋

Every time I visit Tokyo, I always make sure to stop by here. It's the oldest temple in the city and definitely the top sightseeing spot in Tokyo. You can buy tons of Japanese souvenirs! I really recommend checking this place out.

This is the spiritual center for Tokyo’s Edo-era locals and has a long history. The huge red lantern is a super recognizable landmark. With the nearby shopping streets, restaurants, Sumida River, and Tokyo Skytree, plus easy access, the whole area is a great spot for sightseeing.

Lots of Japanese and foreign visitors wear kimonos here, which really adds a special touch.
