If you only have time to visit one temple, Sensoji is definitely the one to go to.

Getting here is really easy—just follow the crowd after you leave the subway station. You can get a great view of the whole temple from the 8th floor of the Asakusa Tourist Center across the street while having coffee.

Sensoji Temple is always bustling with worshippers. It's a famous temple in Tokyo and a very popular tourist spot.

So much to see, eat, and do! You could easily spend the whole day here!

This is the oldest temple in Tokyo, with nearly 30 million visitors every year. The current main gate was rebuilt by Konosuke Matsushita, and the giant lantern at Kaminarimon is a must-see photo spot.

Ningyo-yaki and senbei 🍘 are must-buys when you come to Asakusa.

It's not just Sensoji Temple—there's so much to explore all around Asakusa. I spent the whole day walking around, and only realized how tired I was when I got back to my hotel.

The five-story pagoda is a real highlight of the temple, but it's a shame you can't go inside to take a look.

There are so many tourists here that it feels more like a busy market. I still prefer the peaceful and traditional temples of Japan.
