Getting here is really easy—just follow the crowd after you leave the subway station. You can get a great view of the whole temple from the 8th floor of the Asakusa Tourist Center across the street while having coffee.

With roots tracing back to the Edo period, this centuries-old celebration is officially recognized as both a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage and a National Important Intangible Folk Cultural Asset under the title “Hikiyama Events of Karatsu Kunchi.”
These are basically moving works of art! Each float is so impressive and detailed—traditional yet full of energy. It's a festival that truly moves you from the heart.

Minoo Falls
The name "Minoo Ohtaki" (Minoo Falls) comes from the resemblance of the cascading waterfall to the farming tool "Mi". The waterfall has been selected as “One of the 100 best waterfalls in Japan”, and the beautiful scenery can be enjoyed throughout the year. In 1986, Minoo Park, where Minoo Falls is located, was selected as “One of the 100 best Forests for Forest Relaxation Therapy”.
If you're visiting Osaka and want to get out of the city, this is a great spot. Minoo Falls is really easy to get to, even by train. It's the perfect place for a spring outing!
