Right outside Kyoto Station is the bus terminal, so getting to Kinkaku-ji is super easy. Just take the 205 bus and get off at Kinkakuji-michi.

There were way too many tour groups. You have to line up and organize before entering. The front of Kinkaku-ji is packed with visitors, so it's really hard to take photos.

Kinkaku-ji is so beautiful, it almost feels unreal. If they let visitors go inside, all the gold leaf would probably get worn off.
