Hachimanzaka Slope is famous for its beautiful view down the straight slope toward Hakodate Port. From the top, you can take in the harbor, the sea, and the moored ships. It has been used as a filming location for many movies, Japanese TV dramas, and commercials.

One of the filming locations featured in Detective Conan: The Million-dollar Pentagram. You can visit the iconic spot where Conan and Heiji were nearly hit by a streetcar, then stroll among historic buildings with an international flair.
