It gets super crowded on holidays! If you want a photo without people in the background, you gotta come early.

Wakkanai Port North Breakwater Dome
Located at the northernmost tip of Japan in Wakkanai, Hokkaido-a city famously known as the “Town of Wind” for its strong seasonal gusts-the Wakkanai Port North Breakwater Dome stands as a striking architectural landmark. In 2001, it was officially recognized as a Hokkaido Heritage site.
This dome has such a European vibe, but it’s actually in Hokkaido. The contrast is pretty cool.

Aoi Mori
Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse is a complex created by renovating the Kanemori warehouse group, originally built as commercial warehouses in the late Meiji period. Located within this complex, the select shop Aoi Mori offers a wide range of Hakodate souvenirs, with a focus on sweets and food items. Alongside popular products made in Hokkaido, the shop also carries many original Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse items, making it an ideal place to look for Hakodate-style gifts.
So many Hokkaido‑only sweets here!
Just looking at them makes me want to buy everything and bring it all home! -
Ichibankuji Official Shop Sunshine City Main Store
Located inside “BANDAI NAMCO Cross Store Tokyo,” which brings together an arcade, shops, and a Gashapon corner, this is one of the largest Ichibankuji official shops in Japan.
You don't just get to try your luck here—there are tons of displays and photo spots too. It really feels like stepping right into an anime world!
