This was more thrilling than I expected—kind of like a mini roller coaster. It leans into the turns, and the first time I rode it I couldn’t help but grab the handrail.

Even though there are a lot of people and the lines are long, the attractions inside are super exciting and fun. I had a great time!

Mount Takao
Mount Takao is a peak with an levation of 599 meters, located in Tokyo’s Hachioji City. With good transportation access, it’s a popular placee to go mountain climbing. While still in the city, it’s like taking a trip to the countryside! From families with small children to the elderly, about 3,000,000 people visit every year. It’s world famous as the mountain boasting the most climbers in the world.
The summit is only about 600 meters high, but you get to see the Kanto region on one side and Mt. Fuji on the other. On clear days, the views are amazing! Getting there is easy too—you can just take the cable car up and enjoy a relaxing climb.

Chichibu Yomatsuri, Night Festival
Chichibu Yomatsuri is counted as one of Japan's three great float festivals and Gion Festival in Kyoto and the Takayama Festival in Hida. With its economic growth, the Silk Market "Kinu-no Takamachi" held in the middle of the Edo period (1716-1829) at Chichibu Shrine developed into the grand Chichibu Yomatsuri Night Festival. Since then, it has become known as one of the most popular festivals in Japan.
The festival floats on display at the Chichibu Festival are really gorgeous. Everyone pulls them through the streets together, making for a lively parade. The colorful fireworks show adds even more excitement to the whole event.
