The museum was opened in 2008 as the central facility of the city's art-based local cityscape project. A-FACTORY is a good place to stop by at the end of your trip in Aomori Prefecture. It is a spot where you can find a wide variety of foodstuffs, sundries, traditional crafts, and gourmet foods produced in Aomori.
As soon as you walk in, it’s packed with apple products—cookies, dried apples, apple juice, and more. There are also some handmade crafts to choose from. It’s a great place to pick up Aomori specialties.
