I finally got to visit the Red Brick Warehouse, one of Yokohama's classic attractions! This historic red brick building is now a hub for culture, shopping, and food. With the old architecture and harbor views, every photo has a distinctive feel.
After riding the Yokohama Air Cabin, it's about a 10-minute walk. Strolling along and taking in the harbor scenery is actually quite pleasant. However, on this visit, I noticed that quite a few stores had already left Building No. 1, so it felt a bit quiet. If you want to shop and browse unique little stores, I recommend heading straight to Building No. 2! It has plenty of artsy shops, unique goods, and Yokohama specialties, so you can also pick up all your souvenirs at once.
The Red Brick Warehouse isn't the kind of attraction where you have to spend a long time, but the atmosphere around it is really nice〜
Feeling the sea breeze, taking photos, browsing small shops, and then finding somewhere to eat—this is the relaxing pace of a Yokohama trip!

Nagoya Port Sea Train Land
A family-friendly amusement park right by Nagoya Port. Its 85-meter Ferris wheel is one of the largest in the Tokai area and the park’s signature landmark. Step aboard for beautiful panoramic views of Nagoya Port, with vistas stretching across Ise Bay and all the way to the distant Suzuka Mountains. A ride at dusk or at night is also recommended-an airy stroll with stunning scenery.
Next to the Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium, there's also an amusement park that's great for families with kids. It has everything from classic rides to all kinds of attractions, and both adults and kids can have a great time.
This time, we bought the "Unlimited Parent-Child Ride Pass," which lets you ride more than a dozen attractions in the park as many times as you want. It's really a great deal! I recommend trying each one at least once, since you can also collect stamps to enter a prize drawing. Kids can play and collect stamps along the way, making the experience very engaging.
Just keep in mind that the park doesn't open until 12:00, so it's perfect to visit on the same day as the Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium. Visit the aquarium in the morning, then let the kids burn off some energy here at noon. It's just the right itinerary! -

Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium
This is a huge aquarium with dolphins, beluga whales, orcas, and other sea creatures in the North wing, and various tanks with live coral and other sea creatures in the South wing.
Dolphins and orcas leap freely in Japan's largest pool, and seeing them in person is truly breathtaking! This time, I bought tickets in advance on Klook, so I didn't have to wait in line to enter, which saved quite a bit of time. The layout inside is also very clear. Don't miss the “Sardine Tornado,” the public training sessions for the orcas and beluga whales, and the exciting dolphin show. You can also see the orcas, beluga whales, and the spectacular school of sardines up close, which alone makes it well worth visiting!
Overall, I highly recommend coming for a visit, but remember to **check the schedule for each show in advance** so you can plan your route smoothly! -

Nagoya Port Building
A 63-meter-tall white building that immediately catches your eye when you visit Garden Pier at Nagoya Port. Its unique exterior, designed to resemble a white sailing ship, is known as a landmark of Nagoya Port. On the top 7th floor is an observation room with a sweeping panorama from 53 meters above ground, offering wide views of the open Nagoya Port to the south and the high-rise buildings around Nagoya Station to the north.
When visiting Nagoya Port, consider making time to explore the Nagoya Port Building. It's a landmark of Nagoya Port, with an observation deck and museum inside where you can take in views of the harbor from above. The surrounding area is spacious and great for a leisurely walk in the sea breeze. There are also air-conditioned areas and seats under the pier, so when you get tired, you can sit down with friends, chat, and quietly enjoy the ocean view. It feels especially relaxing. For a laid-back day trip, you can also visit the nearby maritime museum and other attractions without rushing, and comfortably enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of Nagoya Port.
