Art lovers visiting Kochi will definitely be impressed by this! The Kochi Prefectural Museum of Art is truly refined.

The architecture itself incorporates local Tosa roof tiles and ponds surrounded by greenery, and even just walking around the grounds feels open and relaxing. The museum is best known for its very comprehensive collection of works by Marc Chagall. Seeing those dreamy, captivating colors up close is incredibly satisfying! In addition to internationally renowned paintings, the museum also does an excellent job curating exhibitions of local art and prints, often revealing unexpected surprises. When you get tired from exploring, you can enjoy afternoon tea at the on-site café and spend a peaceful moment in the sunlight.
