If you're shopping in Umeda, Osaka, don't miss Grand Front Osaka! Located right next to Osaka Station, it's extremely convenient to get to. Combining shopping, restaurants, cafés, and office space, it's one of Umeda's most iconic commercial complexes. It features many Japanese brands and unique shops, with plenty to browse, from fashion and beauty products to household goods. It's also home to the largest MUJI flagship store in the Kansai region, spanning three floors. In addition to an extremely extensive selection of clothing, household items, and food, it also has Cafe & Meal MUJI, which serves healthy light meals, as well as a dedicated home design consultation area. It's a pilgrimage spot MUJI fans shouldn't miss.

Yakatabune Mikawaya
A historic boat house in Shinagawa with over 170 years of history. Enjoy traditional yakatabune boat cruises all year round.
Standing by the Rainbow Bridge and watching the boats come and go across Tokyo Bay, the lively scene made me want to stop and take it all in. Among them, Yakatabune Mikawaya especially caught my eye~ Yakatabune are traditional Japanese sightseeing boats with spacious interiors where passengers can enjoy Japanese cuisine while taking in the waterfront scenery. Mikawaya is a long-established boat operator with more than a century of history. The boat also has an observation deck on the roof, offering close-up views of the Rainbow Bridge, Tokyo Tower, and other beautiful sights from the water. It's also a different way to experience the beauty of the bay.

Hisaya-odori Park
Hisaya-odori Park is a long, linear urban park located along Hisaya-odori Avenue, recognized as one of Japan's "100 Best Roads." Combining parkland with commercial amenities, visitors can enjoy shopping and dining amidst lush greenery.
Located in central Nagoya, Hisaya-odori Park stretches south from the area around Nagoya TV Tower, forming a lush green corridor through the city. Shady trees line the route, along with wide, comfortable walkways that make it especially pleasant to stroll through. It's rare to find such a relaxing green space in the middle of a busy, bustling downtown area. Various events are held from time to time on holidays, adding plenty of energy and activity to the park. After taking a leisurely walk around the park that day, I went shopping at the nearby Mitsukoshi department store, then met up with friends I hadn't seen in a long time for dinner and had a wonderful evening.

Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Kagoshima
Located directly in front of JR Kagoshima-Chuo Station, where the Kyushu Shinkansen stops, Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Kagoshima is also connected to the Kagoshima Chuo Bus Terminal, a key transportation hub linking destinations throughout Kyushu. Its prime location makes it an ideal base for both sightseeing and business travelers.
Whenever I travel to Kagoshima, Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel is always one of my first choices for accommodations. The hotel is right across the street from JR Kagoshima-Chuo Station, so I can check my luggage almost immediately after leaving the station. It saves me the hassle of hauling my luggage around and makes the trip much easier. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the views are also great. What I look forward to most each day is having breakfast at the restaurant. Through the large floor-to-ceiling windows, majestic Sakurajima comes into view, and the scenery takes on a different appearance depending on the day's volcanic activity and changing sky. Looking at this volcano, which seems so full of life, feels like having a familiar friend quietly by my side, marking a wonderful start to the day.
