On my previous trips to Japan, I mostly planned to shop and eat good food. This time, I made a special trip to walk around Kawasaki Daishi, and the experience felt completely different. When I entered the temple grounds, saw the solemn main hall, and smelled the faint scent of incense, my somewhat restless mood gradually began to calm down. At this age, what I wish for is no longer great wealth or status, but for my family to be safe and healthy and for life to go smoothly. The moment I stood before the Buddha with my hands together in prayer, I truly felt an emotion that was hard to put into words.
