Inside the Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens in Nagoya, I looked up and saw a massive structure. It turned out to be the Higashiyama Sky Tower. From the top floor, you can see views of Nagoya, and the city's night view must be even more beautiful.

Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens
Inside a 600,000 square meter area, there is a zoo, botanical garden, and an amusement park. The scale is so big that you cannot go around this zoo, botanical garden in one day. Especially in the zoo, there are 450 types of animals, many of them are quite popular like the Koala, a symbol of the zoo.
Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens is the largest zoo and botanical garden I've visited so far. It has my favorite animals, including polar bears, giraffes, and seals, as well as beautiful, spacious botanical gardens. We also took the park shuttle to cut down on the walking. I'll visit again the next time I'm in Aichi Prefecture.

Takeshima Island (Aichi Prefecture)
A small island in Mikawa Bay connected to the mainland by a 387-meter bridge. The entire island is designated a National Natural Monument and is a precious natural treasure. Despite its proximity to the mainland, it supports a distinctive plant community rarely found elsewhere in Japan. At the center of the island stands Yaotomi Shrine, known for blessings of good fortune, matchmaking, and safe childbirth.
Takeshima is a symbol of Gamagori. Cross Takeshima Bridge (the Bridge of Romance), and you enter the realm of the gods—Takeshima. Yaotomi Shrine is dedicated to Benzaiten, and people pray there for financial fortune, family harmony, safe travels, and more.
It takes about an hour to walk around Takeshima. The sunset is truly beautiful! -
