While in Jozankei, Hokkaido, I stopped by Jozankei Gensen Park! It’s a small hot spring-themed park. Although it isn’t very large, you can experience Jozankei’s hot spring features up close. The park has a hot spring source and a footbath where you can soak your feet, making it a perfect place to stop and rest when you’re tired from walking. The most interesting part is watching the steam slowly rise from the hot spring pools, which really gives you a sense of the town’s strong hot spring atmosphere. The whole area is very relaxing, and the surrounding natural scenery makes it a comfortable place for a stroll.
