The conveyor belt sushi restaurant here really stands out. All the ingredients are super fresh and directly sourced. Delicious! 👍

Kakiya (Miyajima)
A specialty oyster restaurant located in the center of Miyajima Omotesando Shopping Street that leads to Itsukushima shrine. The ”Jigozen oysters” used, boast premium quality Hiroshima Prefecture’s famous oysters. The restaurant is confident of the taste of its oysters, and they are offered with simple seasoning. The signature dish, Yaki-gaki (grilled oyster), cooked at the entrance, is made succulent and juicy by quickly grilling the oysters over high heat! Enjoy them with just the natural saltiness from the sea.
The oysters here are big, fresh, and delicious—not expensive either. They're sweet, juicy, and taste even better with a squeeze of lemon.

Tomonoura
Tomonoura is beloved nicknamed the “tide waiting port” for its long history for guiding boats along its perfect tides. It has also been celebrated in the Manyoshu, the oldest collection of Japanese poems.
Such a beautiful and authentic fishing village, with a port that feels like it's straight out of the Showa era.
